Dr. Lynn S. Friedman is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.

After completing her post-doctoral training in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Friedman went on to receive several appointments as Clinical Assistant, Senior Clinical Assistant, Medical Student Preceptor, and Assistant Clinical Professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.She has also served as an Attending for the United States Coast Guard on Governor’s Island, New York.

Dr. Friedman has written, edited, and provided the foreword for several popular books including A Woman Doctor’s Guide to Miscarriage, Pregnancy for Dummies, and The Morning Sickness Companion.

Dr. Friedman has received many honors throughout her medical career and is an active member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Saul B. Gusberg Society, the New York State Medical Society, the New York County Medical Society, and the Association of the Attending Staff at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. She is also a Diplomat for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is listed annually as an OB/GYN in the Castle and Connolly Guide to the Top Doctors in the New York/Metro area.

Dr. Friedman completed her undergraduate degree at Vassar College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.She graduated cum laude and was inducted in the Phi Beta Kappa society.Dr. Friedman went on to receive her degree as M.D. at the New York University School of Medicine.
