I am worried that at 28 years old I will have a problem conceiving. If I only have intercourse when I get a positive ovulation predictor will it be possible for me to conceive?
Fertility declines with age, but the decline is not appreciable until the late 30s or early 40s. While each individual is different, a woman in her twenties should have excellent fertility based on her age alone, assuming no other factors are present. By age 42, only ten percent of women will conceive on their own without assisted reproduction or donor eggs. The chances of conception are increased by having intercourse as many times as possible during the monthly fertile window (approximately the four days leading up to ovulation and ovulation day).
